This week has gone by so fast. just yesderday we were complaining on how long those first few days were. and now its almost over. it is so amazing how fast time travels.
it sounds like you and dad are living the retired life and the life of empty nesters prettywell. its weird how much liife changes when you get used to some thing and the way it is going and then its upsidedown and gets changed.
we had a fireside devotional thing last night. it was really good. i wrote about it in my letter and all. its like 4 pages long. i am trying to write as much as i can. but its so tricky when they limit all your time.
any way at the fire side the brother he said there are 4 stages to life and to every situation we get in
1. there is the huney moon phase it seems so much and and your so happy but however you dont really know whats going on.
2. hostile stage this is where you hate everything. you dont understand and you just want out at all costs.
3. grin and bare it. you understand whats going on but however you still dont like it. however you still smile and wave as people walk by.
4.successfull readjustment. this is where life is good no worries and you become good at what ever you are trying to do. the brother said a lot of us are in the 2nd stage but we should never ever be there. we should move quickly and get to the 1st stage of the 4 stage. being happy is what life is all about
oo and if you could talk to dad about sending me some more garments that would be great. my buttoms are giving me really nasty ingrown hairs. so if you could send some cotten boxers or somthing that wontgive me those nasty little buggers that would be great. i have a 32 waist and i am short. haha not tall. (just had to share . . . ;-)
this morning when we went to the temple my comp forgot his temple recomend so we walked back to the residance and got his recomend and decided to do iniatorys. it was so much fun. i had forgoten all the great things that come from that. what a blast
